The power within is key in my novel. Two of the characters have to realize that the power they hold is greater than what they think it is. Maryjane is Dorothy’s daughter. She was born in the mortal world however, she has witch powers and goes the entire novel learning to use her powers. Charlie is Glinda’s son. The power he holds within himself no one, not even Glinda, knows exist aside from the 3 friends of Dorothy. Scarecrow, Tinman, and Lion have witnessed his power first hand, even when he doesn’t remember it. They battle their inner demons of worth throughout the novel, realizing in the end that their powers were meant to fit together with one another.
Everyone has an unspoken power within their souls. You must learn to harness the power to defeat your enemies and demons.
