I would have ran through the isles during intermission
Spreading my love for you like confetti on New Year’s Eve
I’d of grabbed every noise maker
and started a seventy-two-piece band
Played on the corner of Broadway and 7th Avenue
Humming out a love song on my kazoo
As the world got a little older
and life got a little colder
Now with every second that ticks
The ball freezes in time
A toast to you dear friend
I will celebrate your life
From this day until my last
With drug store champagne and cheap plastic glasses
