Devil’s Claw

It’s hungry… and it hasn’t eaten in ages…

On a hundred acre parcel of land, in Franklin County, VA, right beside Devil’s Claw Lake, the midway point between Smith Mountain Lake and Philpot Lake, Ingram Manor sits in the middle of the rolling valley of Foxwood Hill. Built in the 1800s on ancient, forbidden Native American land by Benjamin Ingram, for centuries, it has eaten not just the energy but the souls of those who have lived and died on the expansive acreage and those spirits are trapped in its hellish cage of decay and rot. The last, direct living descendant of Benjamin Ingram, Patrick, has turned the once private land into a luxurious camping resort called Foxwood Hills Resort. However, the ghosts of his past call out to his blood, seeking their vengeance on the last living heir for all the catastrophes and tragic ends they met while walking the hills of Foxwood.
Candace and Carter are on vacation to experience Smith Mountain Lake’s annual Boating Regatta and Fishing Tournament, with the closest resort to stay at being Foxwood Hills. What was supposed to be a normal camping experience soon turns into a supernatural and paranormal debacle, as well as a fight for their lives as they are stalked not only by the spirits that the land has devoured but an ancient evil that the Cherokee tribe had long abandoned seeking refuge elsewhere from the tendrils of death buried deep within the land itself.

Will the campers escape their impending demises, or will they escape the land that seeks out not only their blood but their souls as well?
